Wondering how you could possibly make the Nathan’s International Hot Dog Eating Contest even MORE exciting? Wonder no more. 

It wouldn’t be the fourth of July in NYC without a crazy fireworks show put on by Macy’s and of course the infamous Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.  The 97th annual competition is set to take place tomorrow at noon over at Coney Island. Five-time reigning champion Joey Chestnut of San Jose, Ca is a heavy favorite to win. Last year Chestnut threw back an amazing 62 hot dogs! THAT’S RIGHT 62!!! However, the California native has got some stiff competition. New York City native Tim “Eater X” Janus, Matt “Megatoad” Stonie and Pat “Deep Dish” Bertoletti are a few others who carry some heavy clout in the competitive eating world.
