Flat Stella Tours the Globe
Is everyone familiar with Flat Stanley? Basically, it’s an elementary-school project where kids send paper dolls dubbed “Flat Stanley, Flat Stella, Flat Tammy” etc., to a friend or family member, who in turn passes along to one of their friends or family members.
While you have the Flat Stanley, you take pictures and jot down the adventures that you’ve shown your visiting paper doll. Eventually, the Flat Stanley and its passport are delivered back to the original owner.
We recently welcomed a Flat Stella visiting us from an elementary school in Salina, KS. And um, not to brag, but we’re pretty sure Flat Stella’s owner is going to be impressed with this doll’s global travels.
Since arriving at our office she’s been to The Food Network building (client), Empire State Building, Helsinki, FINLAND and Barcelona, Spain for the Mobile World Congress event.
Now THAT is one well-traveled paper doll.

Umm yes, it’s okay for you to drool at the above picture. And yes, that is swoon-worthy Food Network Chef Curtis Stone. My colleague Sarah and I attended Thrillist’s BBQ and Blue’s last Friday night as part of NYC’s Food and Wine Festival and were able to capture a quick photo with the good-looking chef.
