Last Friday, I worked an MTV Unplugged taping for one of my fave new artists and Roc Nation’s latest rising star, the super talented and drop-dead gorge Rita Ora (if you’re unfamiliar, try “How We Do” or my personal fave, “R.I.P”). This entailed watching her sing live and charm us with jokes in her bubbly British accent for an uh-mazing 1.5 hours. Oh, and coordinating press interviews backstage afterward — which was the best part because once those wrapped, she gave me two big hugs and a thank you. Died. Can’t wait for the airing! Did I mention I love my job?! -Gayle
